Buying high-quantities of perishable food means buying a lot of food that goes bad quick and that is a way to waste money.. would not recommend.

Buying name brand products doesn't help save money because usually the name brand costs more than the off-brand or store brand.

Cutting back on high quantities of meat in recipes makes sense to save money because meat is fairly expensive and if you do not need a lot in a recipe, cutting down helps you save money because you are buying and using less than usual.
