So formula for finding out the line passing through two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is


(y-y1)=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)*(x-x1)

In the given question (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are (-6,3) and (2,-5).

So the equation of line would be


(y-3)=(-5-3)/(2+6)*(x+6)


x+y+3=0

b)

Given a point (-10,7)

by susbtituting in the equation we get


-10+7+3=0

As the point satisfies it lies on the line.
