Argue against the phrase,

"Two negatives always

make a positive."

Answer: It depends.

Explanation:

If you are adding two negatives those two negatives will not give you a positive and if you are subtracting negatives depending on the numbers it wont give you a positive. Now when you multiply or divide two negatives that's a different story, but adding and subtracting negatives wont give you a positive.
