What was the stamp act? How did it contribute to the start of the American Revolution?

Answer: it was a taxation

Explanation: Everything would be stamped. Paper, news, food, everything. If there was a stamp there was a tax and this made people very mad and it led to the American revolution. People thought they deserved to buy simple things without having to pay an extra fee.
