Why was the war 1812 has been described by some historians "second war of independence

Answer: The War of 1812 or Revolutionary War is called Second War of Independence.

The Americans fought for their rights to neutral trade, which British government suspended because of the continental system.

The fought ended with the Treaty of Paris, but for some historians it was a treaty weak. Because it did not guarantee the survival to the new country, nor rights to trade. It would not be too long before the British challenged them again.
