What was the united states justified in declaring war against great britain? why or why not?

yes! great britain unfairly treated the united states (examples: quartering act, tea act, unfair taxes). the colonies wrote the Declaration of Independence, basically saying why Britain is so unfair and that they shouldn’t be connected to each other, and King George III completely ignored them. if they wanted to become independent, it was clear they would have to fight for it (revolutionary war!!)
