Answer :

35 students out of 100 students voted for bear as a new school mascot.

Solution:

Given that

Student at sam’s school voted between a bear and a lion for new school mascot.

Number of student in sam’s school = 100

% of students voted for bear = 35%

So number of students voted for bear = 35% of 100

35 % of 100 can be written as follows;

= (35)/(100) * 100 = 35

Hence 35 students out of 100 students voted for bear as a new school mascot.

Answer:

35 students.

Explanation:

If there are 100 students at the school and 35% of them voted for the bear, it means 35 students voted for the bear (100*0.35=35).
