Answer: During the Industrial Revolution many inventions happened, that made people change in many ways, including how to communicate.

The new inventions and technologies made the Industrial Revolution change many things.

The ability of people to communicate in long distances changed when Samuel Morse invented the electrical telegraph in 1844, that made the communication be transmitted by messages in a cheaper and quicker way. After that, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone, in 1876.
