We can find out volume of a pyramid with formula V=
(1)/(3) B*h

Let´s say, that the base of the pyramid is 18
m^(2).

The equation then becomes
V=(1)/(3) *18*h.


(1)/(3) *18 is 6. If the height of the pyramid is 1, the whole equation will be
V=(1)/(3)*18*1 which is 6
m^(3).

if we halve the height, the equation is
V=(1)/(3)*18*0.5

That is 3
m^(3)

If the height of a pyramid halves, the volume also halves.
