so, we know that the hospital had a total of 1346 + 1329 children, namely 2675 children total, from which 1346 were boys and 1329 were girls.

\bf \cfrac{\textit{favorable outcomes}}{\textit{probable outcomes}}\qquad \qquad \stackrel{Boys}{\cfrac{1346}{\underset{\textit{sample space}}{2675}}}\qquad \qquad \stackrel{Girls}{\cfrac{1329}{\underset{\textit{sample space}}{2675}}}~\hfill \leftarrow \begin{array}{llll} already\\ reduced \end{array}
