Length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is 15 ft. The length of one leg is 9 ft. Find the length of the other leg

Let’s say the other leg is x

Using the Pythagorean’s theorem

9 squared + x squared = 15 squared

81 + x squared = 225

X squared = 225 - 81
= 144

X = the square root of 144
= 12
