Rita can make 8 cakes for a bakery each day. So far, she has orders for more than 32 cakes. Right now, Rita needs more than four days to make all 32 cakes.

Write an inequality to represent each situation. Then, graph the solution.

Answer:

x > 4

Explanation:

Calling x the number of days Rita needs to bake the total amount of cakes, then inequality is x*8 > 32. Because she has orders for more than 32 cakes and can make 8 cakes per day. Dividing by 8 every side of the inequality gives: x > 4. Graph of the solution is attached (notice that 4 is not included).
