The people of northern colonies suffered with the cold weather, they lived in the mountains. Most of the time they were aware of the cold, and how to protect from it. Their economic was based in agriculture.

In the middle colonies the farm was very good, and better. The farmers grew a lot, and became successful, the had more than they needed for their family. They had extra gain in others cities.
