Also known as Karl, Charlemagne became the King of the tribes referred to as The Franks around circa 742 – 814. He did various reforms in various fields, while education field stands at front.

He insisted his children and grandchildren to study well and also, he started studying, promoted arts in his court and awarded various scholarships. Instead of just being a King who implement the reforms, he was someone who took part in the process of implementation. His contributions played a major role in various other fields like Economy, Administration.
