The slope is the amount that the line increases or decreases over time. The y intercept is where the line meets the y axis. In this case you would go on the y axis and put a point three lines down.
From there you count 3 lines up and 5 lines across then put a point there.
This is relatively hard to explain without being able to physically show you, but i hope it helped at least a bit. Have a nice day!
