Explanation:

So birth rate in percentage
=(40* 100)/(1000)=4 %

And rate rate of 30 individuals per 1000 er year

So death rte in percentage
=(30* 100)/(1000)=3 %

So net change in population change per year = 4-3 = 1 %

So population will increase by 1 % per year

So option (b) will be correct answer
