to find the mean, you have to add all the integers up, and divide by the number of integers there are.

So you have to combine all the numbers together

-26 +39 -10 -16 +12 +31 = 30

Now you have to divide by 6, since there are 6 integers that you combined to get 30

30/6 = 5

the mean = 5
