What economic policies of great britain led to conflict with the colonies from 1756 to 1776?​

The British started taxing everything in the colonies for more money to support the war on France for some of the land that France own in the Americas. The British taxed on stamps, tea, etc. And the Boston Massacer, the British soilders killed 5 colonists. This angered the colonists. So they wanted freedom from Britain.
