According to question:

Boys = x + 26 .

On cross multiplication

(26+x) * 1 = x * 2.

26 + x = 2x .

On subtracting both sides by x

26 = 2x -x .

26 = x .

Girls = 26

Boys = 26+26 = 52.

Therefore, Boys = 52.
