Louis XVI was rightfully guilty of treason by his secret dealings and countless counter - revolutionary intrigues were discovered. Louis

had betrayingly conspired to overthrow the revolution of other countries against France. He planned this with confirmed to be Austria and other foreign nations. This is completely uncalled for and unnecessary indeed and well deserved to be taken credit for the guillotine.
