∠HGI = ∠FGH ← substitute values

6x - 12 = 5x - 4 ( subtract 5x from both sides )

x - 12 = - 4 ( add 12 to both sides )

x = 8

∠FGH = 5x - 4 = (5 × 8) - 4 = 40 - 4 = 36°

(b)

∠HGI = 6x - 12 = (6 × 8) - 12 = 48 - 12 = 36°

(c)

∠FGI = ∠FGH + ∠HGI = 36° + 36° = 72°
