Answer:

Because we live in such a world we’re even the biggest things go unnoticed. Like, the Amazon rainforest fires. You wouldn’t have know that was happening if you hadn’t happen to watch the news. Don’t forget social media is a type of news, just not a very reliable one. Be sure to check the news reliability as well. Don’t want anyone thinking there are actually UFO’s in Canada.
