assuming this is a true-false question, I will answer accordingly

your answer is: False

just because it has 4 congruent sides and 4 right angles does not mean it is a square. there are several shapes it could be.

one of which is a rhombus, which also can have 4 congruent sides and 4 right angles

a new way to get the square is to phrase it like this:

a quadrilateral with 4 congruent sides, 2 of the sides perpendicular to the others, and 4 right angles, is a square
