first you find the slope using y2-y1/x2-x1
which would be -6 and then to find the y-intercept plug in either (-3,-1) or (-4,-7) in x and y and plug in the slope -6
-1=-6(-3)+b
-1=18+b
-18. -18
-19=b
y=-6x -9
