TQ = PT ← substitute values

5x - 6 = 3x + 2 ( subtract 3x from both sides )

2x - 6 = 2 ( add 6 to both sides )

2x = 8 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 4

Hence

PT = 3x + 2 = (3 × 4) + 2 = 12 + 2 = 14
