The police come to Austin’s door and ask him to let them search his home due to allegations of drug activity within the home. He does not give them permission. Do they have the right to immediately search his home?

Answer:no they do not have a right to search his house unless they provide him with a search warrant

Explanation:A search warrant can be received from a magistrate if the police are able to provide sufficient evident that there is a high probability that the suspected criminal activity will real be found in that house .

If they provide him with a search warrant they can then freely get and search the house even when he refuse because people who are involve I'm criminal activities will never allow police to search their houses in fear of going to jail.
