Answer:

[-4, 2½]

Explanation:

The quickest way to do this is to calculate how far apart each corresponding coordinate is, then take HALF of that range:

From -4 to -4 → 0

From 3 to -8 → 11


(11)/(2) = 5 (1)/(2)

-3 + = [y-coordinate] → [-4, 2½]

** Just in case you were wondering why I did not calculate zero, zero is neutral, so it stays zero.
