We just need to change every value to the units in the question
We have to find meters per second. In 8.5 hours, there are (8.5*60*60 = 30,600) seconds.
1 mile = 1600 meters
275.5 * 1600 = 440800.
440800/30600 = 14.40522876 meters per second
