Explanation:

X-6y=6

X=6+6y

X/6=1+y

X/6-1=y

y=X/6-1

We'll use substitution to solve the ordered pair. Let's say Y = 0. We'll insert it back into our equation.

0=X/6-1

1=X/6

6=X

(6,0)

We can also start with X being = 0.

y=0/6 -1

y=-1

(0,-1)
