England became interested in being part of the triangular trade because it helped them in generating wealth. The trade also helped England in providing raw materials and starting industrialization in Britain. Britain manufactured commodities and sold them in Colonies in America as well as in Africa. From the Caribbean, it gets sugar and molasses. England colonies provided raw materials like cotton, timber, fish, and grains. From Africa, England captured and sold the slaves in colonies which helped the colonist in farming and exporting the goods at a reasonable price.
