of the divisors of the number 5929. (Note, we do not say they have the same
divisors, we say they have the same number of divisors - factoring both numbers
into primes will help you answer this )

Answer: True

Explanation:

 • The number of divisors of a number is the product of one more than each exponent in its prime factorization.

Given numbers : 100 and 5929

Prime factorization of the above numbers :-

100=2*2*2*5*5=2^2*5^2\\\\ 5929=7*7\tuimes11*11=7^2times11^2/tex]

Now, the number of divisors of 100 = [tex](2+1)(2+1)=6

Similarly , the number of divisors of 5929=6

Hence, the number of divisors of the number 100 is the same as the number of the divisors of the number 5929.
