The earth is divided into six basic belts in north and south like the Doldrums i.e ITCZ the subtropical high and low polar low and high. Basic reason of the oceans is to keep the planets temperature and heat budget in balance as it regulates the flow of tropical waters around the equator by absorbing the sunlight and by retaining heat. As it's consistently in motion the energy is transferred in each and every form, for example the humidity surrounding the air are carried by the trade winds towards the tropics thus this regions remains abundance with heat and rainfall. Also due to the earths rotation from east to west in prograde motion i.e northern hemisphere counter clockwise and reverse in southern hemisphere and the impact of surface winds and other planetary winds. Hense weather i.e the day to day condition and climate i.e the on an average conditions around the globe change.
