You can do like this:
reduce 3 2/5 to an improper fraction: which is 2 7/5 and then you can easily minus 2 4/5 from it! The answer is 3/5 :)

You could simply turn them into decimals.
3.4 - 2.8
Which is .6 or as a fraction 6/10 or simplified 3/5
