x2-16=0

Lets sum to both side 16

x2-16=0+16

x2=16

Now, lets apply square root to whole equation:


\sqrt{x^(2) }=√(16)


x=|4|

The bars means that x can be-4 o 4, since -4^2=16 and 4^2=16
