A ratio table shows the relationship between two things.

If you look at the attached image, class a has a ratio of 3 parts salt to 5 parts water. So when I double the salt to 6, I must double the water to 10. And when I triple the salt to 9, I must triple the water to 15.

Basically, when you multiply the value of one part of the ratio by some number, you must multiply the other part of the ratio by the same number.
