Explanation:

Ex: 3+5-5 x 10

You would first do your multiplication and 5 x 10 = 50.

Next you would proceed to 3 + 5 to get 8. Then you would do 8 - 50 to get 42

Next is:

10-2/2

You would do 2/2 first to get 1 and 10 - 1 is 9. If you did 10 - 2 you would have gotten 8 and 8/2 equals 4 and not 9
