Phospholipase C gamma is an enzymes that get activated by receptor protein tyrosine kinases on Phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2). This enzyme cleaves and mediates the PIP2 molecule as a precursors of diacylglycerol and inositol(1,4,5)P3.
