smaller of the 2 consecutive integers.

Let the smaller integer be n and the consecutive integer be n+1.

According to the question,

(n+n+1)/5 + 29=n+1

or,(2n+1)/5 + 29=n+1

or,2n+1+145=5n+5

or,3n=141

or,n=47

and n+1=48

So, the smaller of the two integer is 47
