The answer is D: the Little Rock Nine. Nine African American students enrolled at an all white high school in Arkansas in 1957. White people at the time weren’t too happy about it. The Little Rock Nine challenged racial segregation in public schools, however. The impact this had for the civil rights of African-Americans made a huge difference.
