Basic geometry question: Anybody able to give a down to earth explanation of a POINT, a LINE, a RAY and a SEGMENT?

A point is a coordinate pair

A ray is a starting point but no end point (so it goes on forever)

A segment is a line connecting two points

(I'm in 9th still learning-ish)
