Answer and Explanation:
the threshold potential of neuron is greater than resting potential if both RP and AP will become same then there will be no transmission of ions and no electric signal will be generated so no message will be transmitted.
if RP and AP will be same then the K(+) channel and Na(+) channel open at the same time and there will be no formation of voltage gradient and so no message will be transmitted.
in case of sodium potassium pump if RP and AP are equal then it will always be open and no formation of concentration gradient it may cause sever pathological damage due the long opening of the channel
