What was the ultimate impact of the Vietnam War on the United States?​

Prolonged conflict with which the public largely did not support resulted in political instability. Countless losses of men fighting overseas whom could not vote for or against political candidates pertaining to them would lead to the age restriction for voting to be lowered from 21 to 18.
