We can now find the height of the parallelogram.

sin(60)=h/6 (opp/hyp)

Multiply both sides by 6.

6 sin(60)=h

6*sqrt(3)/2 =h

3*sqrt(3)=h

So to find the area of the parallelogram you do base*height, so you have 8*3*sqrt(3) which simplifies to 24sqrt(3).
