\text{lcm}(a,b)=\fraca\cdot b{\text{gcd}(a,b)}\\\\378=(|a\cdot b|)/(9)\\\\|a\cdot b|=42\\\\a\cdot b=-42 \vee a\cdot b=42

So, the least value is -42
