“Leaving that bad relationship is simple, just leave”. I thought that was simple, to just up and go. But there are many reasons why that is not helpful and a very toxic way of thinking.
There are factors in a relationship that make it hard to just “up and go” it could be legal binds like buying a house together or renting an apartment that the lease isnt over. Or emotional ties like getting a cat or dog, or you’ve known one another for years on end and you don’t think you’re allowed to just up and go.
