(f-g)(x)=2x^2+2-(x^2-1)=2x^2+2-x^2+1=x^2+3

Answer:

x^2 +3

Explanation:

f(x) = 2x^2 + 2

g(x) = x^2 - 1

(f - g)(x) = 2x^2 + 2 -( x^2 - 1)

Distribute the minus sign

2x^2 +2 -x^2 +1

x^2 +3
