Answer:

The correct DNA replication is critical for protein synthesis since the process of the copy of DNA bases is directly linked to the future configuration of the amino acids sequence within a protein chain. Each base of the DNA act as a mold to the construction of the protein, if one is incorrect or lost during replication all the protein sequence can be affected and the synthesis can completely stop or a different protein from the one that is in the DNA code can be synthesized, either way, will have great repercussions at the cellular level and eventually for the organism as a whole. Because of that, the cells have signaling and repair mechanisms to prevent replication failures from passing into translation and protein synthesis.
