For this case we have that the area of the kite is formed by the ara of two triangles with the same base of
9 + 9 = 18 meters and one with height 9 meters and another with height 6 meters.

So:

A = \frac {1} {2} b * h + \frac {1} {2} b * h\\A = \frac {1} {2} 18 * 9 + \frac {1} {2} 18 * 6\\A = \frac {1} {2} 162+ \frac {1} {2} 108\\A = 81 + 54\\A = 135 \ m ^ 2
