How skeletal system facilitates cardiovascular system function?

Skeletal system makes our blood cells(red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets). Bone marrow(where the cells are made) is considered part of the lymphatic system so the skeletal system is a very vital system in our body.
Skeletal system also provides protection for the heart and veins(especially arteries). The ribs and sternum for example protect the heart and lungs.
Hope this helps:)
