Some schools are now using heart rate monitors in gym class. Students’ final grades are based on their heart rates they achieve. Do you think this is a good idea? Why or why not?

This could go both ways, it could be a good thing because considering the fact that it's gym class and it involves exercise. And they can montior if a student is actually doing what they are supposed to be doing. BUT on the other hand it could be a bad thing because some student's may have medical problems and what not so it would make them have a poor grade towards the end of the semester. I hope this helps.

its not a good idea because you never know if the kid has an abnormal heart rate or has a heart problem. they should be graded on timing and participation.
